our story

2022s A Vision Born in Melghat In 2022, Gajanan Kale, together with members of the tribal communities in Melghat, founded Korku Company. Driven by a shared dream to create sustainable livelihoods for tribal families, they set out to bring the region’s pure forest honey, wild botanicals, and traditional millets to people everywhere.

2023s Building Livelihoods and Trust The first steps were small but meaningful: forming partnerships with local honey collectors and farmers, sharing knowledge about ethical harvesting, and ensuring fair wages. Every product—from Melghat forest honey to Kutki millet—became a testament to the community’s resilience and dedication.

2024s Spreading the Taste of the Forest Word began to spread about Korku’s natural, forest-based products. Health-conscious consumers and specialty stores embraced the mission. Each jar and packet carried the story of tribal heritage, sustainability, and hope.

2025s and Beyond Growing a Purpose-Driven Future Today, Korku Company is proud to stand alongside the tribal families of Melghat, working to protect their traditions while creating new opportunities.
